About Jornada
In the common job there are certain aspects of life that often get set to the side: the opportunity to express one’s imagination through creative projects, the opportunity to express ones beliefs in morals, the opportunity to express bits of experience that would help make some one else’s journey a bit easier. In some of my free time (Sunday afternoons while everyone else is napping) I have felt a desire to express myself through the plot of a story. I hope that this story is something that my children will be able to read for adventure, to learn a thing or two, and to get to know their father.
Jornada is a plot build from the conglomerate of beliefs, elements of imagination, and influences from other works. Some of the influences come from Christianity (commonly, there is a reference or allusion to Christian symbols in many works of literature, cinema, and art), J.R.R. Tolkein, etc. I will readily admit that I am not a professional writer and am doing this out of fun. I fell in love with The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit because I had created adventures in my imagination as a youth and never got a chance to put them down anywhere. Version/Release
I am in a rough draft stage at this point so I do not have a version available to read. Soon I hope to have a copy that can be either downloaded or a way to publish it and make it available. It is not yet complete because I am in the draft stage.
